the coat: a story of charity

the following video has put me in a delightfully happy, christmas-esque state of heart and mind.

also, i want to be this kind of mama,
the kind that makes coats and gives mama-bear hugs.

and have a man-child like that one,
the kind that plays outside and has a big heart.

[and yes, i reserve the right to refer to my future baby boys as man-children.]

ok now watch the video...

This is just about the sweetest thing ever. And I've been crying at EVERYTHING lately so this definitely made me tear up. Seriously, this is what Christmas is all about! Thanks for sharing! P.S. I love that you are going to call your baby boys man-children. Haha.

This story is so precious. My mom's friend tells a story about my mom. Though she had a beautiful coat, she asked my dad for a new one for Christmas so she could give hers to the friend that couldn't afford one, but also wouldn't accept a new one as charity. It is good to have examples like that.

I love this. Thank you for sharing. I like how there aren't any words, but the story is still told so well. Our man-children will grow up to be just like this :]
