Dude, it's Friday.

You have no idea how I have longed and pined for this day!

Why?

1. Because it's Friday, enough said.

2. It's been one of those weeks that involved running into the door a couple times so it's probably time to retire the entire effort and just look to the future!

3. There is a blogger parrrrrrty happening tonight! Are you coming? Come!

4. Read #1. Lather, rinse, repeat.

Also, I made centerpieces for the party. 

They were too excited to sleep last night, but that's OK, I understood.

And I got my hairs cut, so there's that.

Oh, and I've had 2 dates with the waffle fry this week.

sooo...

it started out innocently enough...

i simply got tired of having brown tresses.

so i decided to dye my hairs.

and i thought, "how about the ombre melt thing?"

and then i thought, "brown and red will be nice."

and then 2 hours before the appt i thought, "how about a little blonde..."

and then...

oh hey blonde hair.

yes, i slightly panicked.

i mean, i wanted a change...

this was my doing...

but...

i feel somewhat uncertain.

but it's growing on me, i think?

though i probably change my mind every 5 minutes.

still wrapping my head around it...

but hey,

a girl can use a little summer adventure!

also, after a couple attempts,

i discovered i can cross just one eye...

hair tutorial: nested braids

oh oh!

some of you expressed interest in the hairstyle in my concert review.

well here ya go!

ees quite simple.

and i felt like i had to name it something.

so, i give you,

the nested braids tutorial:

1. twist hair back on each side and pin. 

2. separate hair into three sections and braid each section. 

3. twist and pin braids at random. 

4. add hairspray and smokin' red lipstick liberally.
5. practice holding your arms at weird angles to take a picture of the back of your head. then take pictures from the front that actually crop off part of your head and defeat the purpose of taking a photo of your hairstyle from the front.
