A&A: biblical whore & brave little toaster

Awkward...
▲ The other day I decided I could use a pick-me-up so I grabbed my Bible and it fell open to the "whore" entry in the index.
▲ That one time when the curtain rod sneak attacked me.
▲ The existence of fish mcbites.
▲ You know those ribbon loops inside the shoulders of certain sweaters that you use to help keep it on the hanger? On the airplane ride to Utah, the guy next to me was making friendly conversation. I went to put my cardigan on and managed to get one of my arms through the little ribbon loop and then through the sleeve. The cardigan would therefore only come halfway to my shoulder and pinned my arm to my side. I continued with my polite conversation and just nonchalantly pretended like I only meant to put my sweater on halfway. Smooth.
▲ My niece's 2nd grade play featured a garden theme and included an edgy rap song called "Weeds Rule." That message is gonna be tough to reverse when they hit drug education in a few years.

Gray Area...
▲ My outfit today may or may not match. Maybe? Loosely? Shrug?

Awesome...
▲ The movie Warm Bodies. Yeah, I'm still thinking about it.
▲ The guy in the car next to me at a stoplight the other day was brushing his beard. Full-on hairbrush, full-on beard, full-on grooming. I think it was a good omen.
This video about Tim's Place, a restaurant owned by a man with Down's Syndrome who loves to give hugs. MUST. GO.
▲ This article about girls with bangs.
▲ For a work assignment I had to compile a list of inspirational quotes about leadership. I snuck this one in there: "You think I got where I am today because I dressed like Peter Pan over here?" Rex Kwon Do
▲ Everything about Jennifer Lawrence but mostly this.
▲The rug and afghan I thrifted a couple weekends ago. Because, I am an eccentric old lady at heart and I want to (see: I currently do) decorate my home with afghans and teapots.
▲ My mom made me a Brave Little Toaster for my birthday. Because she is the coolest.

SHUT UP. Your brave little toaster is awesome. Best gift ever.

Also it reminds me of the time my grandma went looking for a copy of that movie and asked the dude at the store where she could find "The Courageous Lunchbox."

Ugh, Fish McBites. My mom thinks McDonald's is a good idea so she brought me some a few weeks ago when they were only $1. In case you were wondering, they taste like mushy chicken nuggets.

Have you tried the fish mcbites? They're good. Really good. I don't usually eat fast food but when I do, I love it. And I love the fish mcbites. The carton they come in (the fact they come in a carton probably isn't good) even has a handy convenient holder for the tarter sauce. Get in my mouth.

Wrong. They taste like joy. From the ocean. Ocean joy. They taste like ocean joy.

I know right?! Girl crush in a big way! I also love Emma Stone. And I'm jealous that she's dating Andrew Garfield, so it's kind of like a love triangle. I'm pretty sure they're not aware of it, but that doesn't make it any less real.

haha now I don't know who to believe! I'm skeptical.

katilda said...

She DOES, huh??

It made me laugh and laugh. I'm mostly just proud that I got bangs a few months ago and now I know it SAYS something. haha
