how to help hurricane sandy victims

i have been glued to the news all week, watching updates, photos and stats come pouring in about that nasty frankenstorm in the northeast.

my bleeding heart gets all kinds of troubled when stuff like this goes down, so i'm grateful for resources and organizations that provide ways to give help, even from across the country.

if you missed it, as of my latest googling on the North American front there were 82 people dead, 7 million without power, thousands of homes flooded or blown away, and a whole lot of rescuing, recovery and rebuilding that needs to get done.

if you want to help, you've got options.

also, prayer is always an excellent idea.

Thank you for passing along these sources of aid. It means so much to those whose lives were impacted by the storm.

And yes, prayers are always a good idea :)
