one of my favorite perks of the ol' writing career is when i get to interview and write inspirational stories about amazing people.
trust me, it's worth a read.
and not just because i wrote it.
OK humor me, maybe a little because of that.
writing this type of feel-good story takes me back to when i worked for the make-a-wish foundation.
oh, the stories i got to write!
always made me all teary-eyed, without fail.
in retrospect, my on-the-job emotional stability was constantly in jeopardy.
but it was soooo worth it.
