dear turkish delight: no i will not make out with you

and this, kiddos, is why my dating life keeps me on my toes.

the scenario:
a facebook friend request

from this guy:

goes by the name of:
ensar

hails from the great land of:
turkey

his message:
"I will come in june :) this year...."

that's right my friends.....
i think this guy just mail-order brided me.

what? that's totally a verb.

as i said to kels on the ol' skype chat...

I HAVE WHOLE CONVERSATIONS WITH ATTRACTIVE GUYS AT PARTIES WHO DON'T CALL ME AND THE ONLY GUY WHO OFFERS TO COME SEE ME IS FRIGGIN ENSAR.

but seriously. too funny.

shopping for a wedding dress that won't get wrinkled on an international flight,

bahaha I love this. If you were here, Bret and I would have the most awesome guy to set you up with. Maybe we'll send him down in June to show up on your door step with a bandana over his mouth...just maybe...

Turkish men are hot! Dark hair, light eyes. Plus they have great desserts. Go for it!

i support this if only for the reason that it will give me an excuse to fly to turkey and throw you a fab foreign wedding! congrats ensar, you're the lucky winner!

I want your blog to have a comment box or a suggestion box or something. Actually, what I really want is a search feature (because just now I was looking at an old post and saw a picture of you in a blue dress and wanted to know if you got it from shabby apple and I wanted to see more pictures of it because it looks like one I just ordered whose arrival I am anxiously awaiting but I can't search for your bridesmaids posts because of a lack of a search box!) but if you had a suggestion box, I would have just written that I would suggest a search button. Wow. Also. How bout that Ensar huh. Totally weird.

I die. At every blasted thing you post. Your hilarity never ceases to amaze me. Is hilarity a word? If not, it is now. Really though, hilarious. Also, Ensar sounds like a stud. Or maybe a creeper. Good luck on the dress hunt. :)

I actually did make a turkish friend on the DC subway once, who eventually that afternoon did offer to marry me (in seriousness, if I was willing) so he could get his green card.
